Zusammenfassung

Freenome is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist II in California to perform high-complexity testing, quality control, and QA procedures while maintaining meticulous records. You will train staff, lead projects, troubleshoot assay issues, and collaborate with Development and Automation teams.

The role reports to the Supervisor, Analytical Laboratory and requires flexible hours including occasional weekends.

Qualifikationen

• Valid California CLS license (Generalist preferred, CGMBS accepted).
• BA/BS in Biomedical or Clinical Science or related field.
• Know requirements of local, state, federal lab regulations.
• 1–2 years CLS experience or equivalent.
• Ability to implement feedback professionally and solve complex test issues.
• Experience with lab automation such as Hamilton or Bravo.
• Ability to shift start times as needed.

Aufgaben

• Perform high-complexity tests per SOPs and work instructions.
• Collaborate with Development and Automation teams on assays and validations.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and document PM on lab equipment (centrifuges, freezers, pipettors, etc.).
• Review, interpret, and report results in LIMS.
• Identify and troubleshoot assay problems affecting test performance.
• Document QC procedures and corrective actions when needed.
• Report safety concerns to supervisor; train staff on procedures.
• Prepare reagents and perform reagent qualification.
