The role requires 2+ years in a lab or manufacturing environment, with programming skills (Python) and Hamilton instruments.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, biology or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in a lab, diagnostics, or manufacturing engineering environment.
• Proficiency in programming for lab automation (e.g., Python).
• Familiarity with molecular workflows and lab software/equipment.
• Ability to work in a biohazard setting and follow safety protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in automated workflows in a molecular lab.
• Develop, test, validate, and deploy new automated workflows.
• Collaborate with operations, biomedical engineering, and vendors to minimize downtime.
• Train operators on automated instrumentation and maintenance.
• Support qualification and integration of new software and equipment.
• Create and maintain documentation for automation methods.
• Evaluate new automation tech and recommend applications.
• Develop proficiency in software platforms and automation systems.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and efficiency gains.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders across departments.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (CLIA, CAP, FDA, ISO).
• Drive continuous improvement and corrective actions as needed.
