ABB is seeking a Project Engineer to serve as technical lead for Process Automation projects across multiple industries, handling design authority, system configuration, and HMI development. The role is hybrid, based in Cleveland, OH, with travel up to 25% for US and global projects.

You will work with sales to define proposals, ensure on-time delivery within budget, and uphold safety and quality guidelines. Strong collaboration and communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree is required; degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Science, or other engineering degree is preferred
• 2+ years of engineering experience; experience with Distributed Control Systems is preferred
• Knowledge of domain and networking is a plus

Responsabilidades

• Lead and/or act as design authority for Process Automation engineering projects across Renewable, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Power Generation, Water treatment and Life Sciences
• Provide technical details, costs, and deliverables for sales proposals
• Make technical recommendations in project phases to ensure timely, on-budget delivery and compliance with safety standards
• Configure systems, develop application logic, and upgrade HMIs and controls
• Develop work plans and budgets, conduct risk assessments for engineering work
• Support contract managers in change management and cost/time impact assessments
• Assist customers on-site and remotely, including global project support
• Mentor entry-level engineers and coaching teams to improve capabilities
• Maintain high customer satisfaction through excellent service at all stages
