Job summary

ABB is seeking a Demand Associate Field Service Trainee to support the Automation Energy Industries division in Cleveland, OH. The role focuses on delivering on-site service, troubleshooting, and maintenance for ABB’s Distributed Control System in a collaborative, customer-facing capacity.

You will join a structured traineeship with mentorship, relocation assistance if applicable, and opportunities across ABB University and technical support paths.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Willing to maintain overnight travel of 80%.

Responsibilities

• Provide site service to ensure safe and efficient plant operation utilizing ABB’s DCS.
• Perform preventive maintenance and support shutdowns as part of the role.
• Troubleshoot low complexity hardware/software issues and manage support requests for customers.
• Maintain customer database by logging calls and services provided.
• Suggest ABB solutions to enhance system performance and expand service scope.
