ABB in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Project Engineer to be the technical lead on Process Automation projects across Renewable, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Power, Water, and Life Sciences. You will define technical solutions, develop costs and deliverables for proposals, and guide project execution.

The role blends hands-on engineering with system configuration, HMI development, and upgrades. It is a hybrid position based in Cleveland with travel up to 25% to support US and global projects and to

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required
• 2+ years of engineering experience; DCS preferred
• Experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) including networking, control logic, programming fundamentals
• Strong written and spoken communication skills
• Willingness to travel up to 25%

Responsabilidades

• Lead and/or act as design authority for 800xA projects
• Develop standard processes, tools and techniques ensuring safety and contractual compliance
• Create work plans and budgets, plus risk assessments for engineering disciplines
• Support contract managers on scope changes, cost and time impacts
• Assist customers remotely and onsite in US and global projects
• Coach entry-level engineers and maintain customer satisfaction
