Job summary

Owens & Minor is seeking a Program Manager to lead the process automation delivery function, supervising the Process Engineer and Execution Project Managers to drive improvements and reliable deployment. You will partner with architects and project managers to ensure designs align with architecture and go-live plans.

The role requires 5–7+ years in related fields, strong stakeholder skills, and experience in distribution or warehousing.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in operations management, industrial engineering, or related field.
5–7+ years in program management with process engineering and operations experience.
Experience in distribution, warehousing, or supply chain operations; WMS integration a plus; PowerBI and Smart Sheets a plus; advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee process analysis and improvement work feeding into automation initiatives.
Build business cases for process improvements, including cost/benefit analysis.
Own execution-stage program management across deployment, cutover, and stabilization.
Partner with the Solutions Architect and Integration Project Managers to align process design with solution architecture.
Track program-level metrics: savings, throughput, and ROI across execution workstreams.
Escalate resource, risk, and timeline issues to the Director of Process Automation.
