Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Program Manager, Automation – North America to lead strategy, design, and delivery of scalable automation and mechanized solutions for NA clients. You will manage ROI analyses, vendor relationships, and end-to-end deployment from concept through go-live, aligning technical design with operational execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 5+ years in warehouse/logistics, including 3+ years in automation engineering or related role.
Proven experience designing and deploying automated warehouse solutions with knowledge of material flow and intelligent automation.
Strong blend of business, operations, system integration, and technology design for scalable automation.

Responsibilities

Lead analysis, design, and deployment of automation and mechanized solutions for operations.
Partner with Solution Design teams for RFP responses, budgeting, and productivity modeling.
Own end-to-end automation lifecycle from design to go-live and post go-live support.
Conduct ROI analyses to justify automation investments and financial targets.
Manage vendor relationships across design, contracting, installation, testing, and post‑go‑live support.
Oversee cross‑functional implementation, including integration, configuration, testing, and readiness.
Serve as liaison between vendors and internal stakeholders for design and scope alignment.
Lead automation design reviews, engineering discussions, and cross‑functional alignment on workflows.
Develop and execute test strategies including validation and performance checks.
Drive training programs for new automation systems across operations and safety teams.
Support go‑live, hypercare, and transition to steady-state operations.
Establish governance, documentation, and change management processes.
Identify continuous improvement opportunities and capture lessons learned.
Evaluate emerging automation technologies to enhance performance.
