Job summary

Saft is seeking a highly skilled Controls Technician to support production equipment and complex control systems. The role involves troubleshooting PLCs, programming Allen-Bradley controllers, HMI panels, and servo drives across electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

You will collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and vendors to install and upgrade equipment, while adhering to safety standards and plant policies. A degree in electronics and hands-on PLC experience are desired.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting PLCs and automation equipment.
• Ability to understand and modify PLC programs for controls.
• Familiarity with electrical and electronic control systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot PLC and repair automation equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic schematics.
• Program HMI panels and servo drives.
• Work with electrical/test equipment (calipers, micrometers, meters).
• Collaborate with engineering on improvements and projects.
