Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 5–8 years of industry experience.
• Strong understanding of packaging systems, automation, and integrated solutions.
• Experience developing system concepts and layouts for capital equipment or automation projects.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and standard productivity tools.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into clear, structured technical definition.
• Effective communicator across technical and commercial teams.
• Fluency in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer specifications into integrated packaging and automation concepts.
• Define system concepts, layouts, and solution definitions aligned with BW Packaging standards.
• Lead technical discussions to define scope, assumptions, constraints, and tradeoffs.
• Create and maintain layout drawings reflecting proposed configurations and constraints.
• Integrate equipment into end-to-end system layouts.
• Develop controls-related estimating inputs and ensure accurate cost alignment.
• Partner with Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure successful proposals and handoffs.
• Apply standard workflows and continuously improve front-end processes.
