Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions in New Jersey is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the operation and upkeep of building systems inside a large client facility. You will repair, maintain, and improve material handling equipment (MHE) and robotic systems to ensure reliability and safety.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of related experience, proficiency in MS Office, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of related experience and/or training.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with powered or non-powered hand tools.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and solve problems in standard situations.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Repair, maintain, and improve electrical and mechanical systems in MHE and robotics.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Complete and document preventative maintenance routines.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Collaborate with Client and Operations Maintenance teams.
