Job summary

Macy’s Distribution Center in Portland, Tennessee, is seeking a Senior Manager, Maintenance to lead facility and equipment maintenance, diagnostics, and electrical systems upkeep. You will supervise hourly technicians, drive preventive maintenance, and ensure uptime of material handling and powered equipment.

You will collaborate with operations, manage budgets, and promote safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is encouraged.
• Experience with PLCs, electrical and pneumatic systems; strong mechanical/electrical repair skills.
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop hourly technicians while maintaining a positive safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with operations to support distribution center logistics and equipment capabilities.
• Maintain building and equipment in safe, cost-efficient condition.
• Develop and promote best practices across Macy’s Supply Chain.
• Lead and train maintenance technicians; ensure safety.
• Provide cost estimates for repairs and capital projects.
• Procure equipment and services; manage vendor relations.
• Ensure CMMS-driven preventive maintenance and root-cause analysis.
• Manage budgets to hit financial targets.
• Drive continuous improvement in material handling systems.
