Job summary

Macy's is seeking a Senior Manager, Maintenance for our Distribution Center. You will lead preventive and corrective maintenance on material handling equipment, powered equipment, and building systems to ensure safe, reliable operations.

Reporting to the Maintenance Director, you will develop best practices, manage budgets, supervise maintenance teams, and collaborate with regulatory agencies to uphold safety and efficiency across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Electrical and mechanical engineering expertise for industrial equipment and systems.
• Experience with PLC control systems and process automation.
• Proven leadership and team development capabilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Budget management and cost optimization experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance of MHE, PIT, and facilities.
• Collaborate with operations to support distribution center logistics.
• Ensure safe, cost-effective operation of building and equipment.
• Develop best practices across the supply chain and CMMS usage.
• Train and supervise maintenance teams and provide performance feedback.
• Lead cost estimates for repairs and capital projects.
• Procure parts, equipment, and third-party services.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies and consultants as needed.
• Support continuous improvement to optimize product flow.
