Job summary

Macy’s is seeking a Senior Manager, Maintenance, to oversee facility and equipment at a Macy's Distribution Center. You will lead preventive and corrective maintenance on material handling equipment, powered systems, and building infrastructure, while driving efficiency, safety, and cost control.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support logistics, develop best practices, and manage a team of maintenance professionals.

Qualifications

• Electrical and mechanical engineering expertise with troubleshooting capabilities.
• Experience with PLC control systems and industrial equipment.
• Ability to lead maintenance teams and manage budgets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance on MHE, PIT, and facilities.
• Develop cost-effective maintenance and energy optimization plans.
• Manage budgets and procure parts and services.
• Collaborate with regulatory agencies and consultants as needed.
• Train, mentor, and supervise maintenance staff to ensure safety and performance.
