Job summary

Saint-Gobain North America is launching an 18-month Essentials of Manufacturing (EOM) program for Automation Engineers, designed to develop future leaders in manufacturing. The program blends classroom learning, hands-on projects, and quarterly plant rotations across North America, with an 80:20 local to travel mix.

Participants will lead digital manufacturing initiatives, support SAP, Ignition, and PLC applications, build analytics tools, and drive continuous improvement to achieve World Class

Qualifications

• B.S. in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Electrical etc.)
• Internship experience in manufacturing or professional setting is a plus
• Valid passport required for international travel to Canada

Responsibilities

• Providing engineering support for site process improvements.
• Supporting safety/sustainability initiatives at the plant.
• Implementing new automation processes at the site.
• Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for cost reduction and quality improvement.
