Job summary

Alsco Uniforms in Houston is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative and specialized maintenance of a modern laundry facility. The role emphasizes automation, control systems, and safety compliance to ensure reliable operations.

You will collaborate with plant personnel, document repairs in the PM system, and support wastewater systems and power plant equipment. A high school diploma and relevant certifications are required, with 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience

Qualifications

High school or equivalent; additional training in plumbing, electrical, steam, controls, PLC, welding, and mechanical systems.
2+ years industrial maintenance experience.
Knowledge of electric schematics, low voltage troubleshooting, controls, steam/boiler operation, hydraulics, pneumatics; safety compliance (LOTO, hot work, confined spaces).
Boiler operator license and wastewater certification; computerized preventive maintenance systems.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with GM, Production Management and operations partners to support facility operations.
Use computerized PM program daily to document repairs and maintenance activities.
Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment with emphasis on automation and control systems.
Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and operational requirements; document and retain records; support wastewater compliance.
Perform preventive maintenance to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.
