Zusammenfassung

LyondellBasell is seeking a Capital Project Manager to lead a portfolio of automation and capital projects at APS sites in the United States or Mexico. The role focuses on safety, reliability, capacity, and cost-effective improvements across material handling, warehousing, and packaging workflows.

You will coordinate internal teams and external partners from concept through startup, traveling ~25% to sites and supplier locations to ensure on-time delivery and value creation for the business.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, or capital project execution.
• Experience managing multiple capital projects simultaneously in an active manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing material handling, warehousing, packaging, logistics, or other manufacturing automation projects.
• PMP certification preferred.

Aufgaben

• Manage a portfolio of capital projects across APS manufacturing sites, leading projects from concept development and funding approval through execution, startup, and closeout.
• Develop and manage project scopes, estimates, schedules, budgets, risks, and execution plans.
• Deliver projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
• Partner with site teams to develop and implement automation solutions that support operational and business needs.
• Coordinate operations, IT/OT, engineering partners, suppliers, contractors, and system integrators through design, commissioning, startup, and transition to site ownership.
• Lead project reviews, startup readiness activities, and stakeholder communications throughout project execution.
