Job summary

LyondellBasell is seeking a Capital Project Manager to lead a portfolio of capital projects across APS manufacturing sites. You will drive project delivery from concept through startup, coordinating internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver cost-effective solutions.

Based near APS sites in the US or Mexico, this role requires approximately 25% travel and a strong background in engineering, project controls, and SAP-based systems. PMP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Experience delivering multiple capital projects in manufacturing.
• PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of capital projects from concept through startup.
• Develop scopes, estimates, schedules, budgets, risks, and execution plans.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
• Coordinate with site teams, IT/OT, suppliers, and contractors.
• Lead project reviews, startup readiness, and stakeholder communications.
