100Hires, Inc. is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to design, implement and optimize automated material handling systems.

You will troubleshoot PLC/PC controllers, including Allen Bradley ControlLogix/CompactLogix and RSLogix 5000, and support SCADA-based monitoring across conveyors, sortation, scanners, and vision systems. You will oversee contractor work, drive reliability improvements, and communicate status to site leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred with 2–5 years of relevant experience.
2+ years PLC programming, robotics components, and SCADA monitoring.
Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
Experience across two engineering design cycles including specification, component selection and programming.

Responsabilités

Troubleshoot and modify software for material handling control systems, including PLC/PC controllers.
Escalate and repair MHE controls software on-site or remotely.
Inspect systems to ensure operation within design specs and approved conditions.
Oversee development scope, work requests, scheduling and inspections of outside contractors.
Engineer processes and reliability improvements from concept to network implementation.
Monitor industrial networks and equipment metrics to resolve problems.
