Job summary

100Hires, Inc. seeks a controls engineer to ensure uptime and safety of conveyors, sortation, and SCADA systems. You will troubleshoot and modify RSLogix 5000 routines, coordinate licensed upgrades, and respond to alarms to keep lines running.

You’ll work with Allen‑Bradley ControlLogix/CompactLogix, RSLogix 5000, and industrial networks, both on-site and remotely, to improve reliability and performance across complex automation assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on PLC programming and control-system troubleshooting required.
• Ability to coordinate upgrades with contractors and support after-hours.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, modify, and document material handling control software across PLC/PC controllers.
• Lead on-site and remote escalation for MHE controls during emergencies.
• Engineer end-to-end reliability solutions from concept through network implementation.
• Monitor industrial networks, motor controls, servo drives, and electrical distribution.
• Coordinate outside contractors for upgrades and inspections of specialized systems.
