CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking a skilled Ctrl Systems Engineer / Automation Engineer to support one of the world’s largest online retailers. You will join a team of controls and maintenance professionals focused on preventive maintenance, reliability, and operational performance of conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, and SCADA programs.

Qualificações

• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2–5 years of relevant experience; combination of experience and education may be considered.
• Experience in at least two engineering design cycles including specification, component selection and programming.
• 2+ years of experience with PLC programs.
• 2+ years of experience with robotics system components and controls.
• 2+ years of experience with SCADA systems.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Able to independently solve problems with limited oversight.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
• Ability to communicate technical issues clearly with stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Promote safety and compliance with codes and directives for system operations.
• Troubleshoot and modify software for material handling control systems (PLC/PC, Controllogix/CompactLogix, RSLogix 5000).
• Provide first-level on-site and remote troubleshooting support, including after-hours emergency response.
• Inspect systems to verify operation meets design specifications and client requirements.
• Oversee outside contractors and maintenance work, including licensed installations and upgrades.
• Engineer process solutions and reliability improvements from concept to implementation.
• Monitor networks (Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Profibus, AS-I) and motor controls.
• Communicate with stakeholders on timelines and production impacts.
• Support failures analyses and retraining to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain and improve equipment reliability through controls assessments.
