Job summary

C&W Services is seeking an Automation Engineer to support site maintenance and optimize Material Handling Equipment control systems within a modern facility. You will work with conveyors, sortation, scanners, and HMIs, helping troubleshoot complex problems and lead or assist other technicians.

The role emphasizes safety, collaboration with operations, and implementing solutions across Rockwell-based platforms and industrial networks in a climate-controlled environment.

Qualifications

3+ years in programming/commissioning HMIs, PLCs, and VFDs.

Responsibilities

Promote a safe working environment by following procedures.
Provide guidance on maintaining material handling control systems and electrical distribution.
Troubleshoot and modify software for material handling control systems (PLC/PC, Rockwell).
Escalate downtime issues to vendors or network teams.
Collaborate with operations leadership and vendors on new tech installations.
Communicate project timelines and impacts to leadership and maintenance teams.
