Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield (C&W Services) is seeking an Automation Engineer to support the maintenance team in Rialto, CA, ensuring high performance of material handling control systems and related equipment. The role involves troubleshooting, software modification, and collaboration with operations to minimize downtime.

You will work in a modern facility with a safety-first culture, leading or assisting technicians and coordinating with vendors for capital projects and technology installations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years programming/commissioning HMIs, PLCs, and VFDs.
• Experience with SCADA systems and KPIs.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Experience with conveyors and sortation equipment.
• Able to support electrical and automation tasks.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
• Provide guidance on maintaining material handling control systems and electrical distribution.
• Troubleshoot and modify software projects for material handling control systems.
• Act as first level escalation for automation issues and coordinate with vendors.
• Plan capital projects and communicate timelines with leadership.
