Job summary

CBRE, Inc. is seeking a skilled Ctrl Systems Engineer / Automation Engineer to support one of the world’s largest online retailers. You will work with MHE equipment, conveyors, sortation, and SCADA to improve reliability and performance.

The role requires strong PLC/PC control programming, robotics familiarity, and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems in a fast-paced environment. On-site responsibilities may include weekends and night shifts.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in controls engineering.
2–5 years of relevant experience in control systems and automation.
2+ years programming PLCs and robotics-related controls.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and modify software for material handling control systems (PLC/PC).
Support on-site and remote troubleshooting for MHE controls during and after hours.
Oversee development scope, schedules, and inspection of vendor work.
Engineer process improvements from concept to implementation.
Monitor industrial networks and equipment performance.
Communicate project timelines and impacts to leadership and operations.
