Job summary
CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) seeks a skilled Ctrl Systems Engineer / Automation Engineer to join our team servicing one of the world’s largest online retailers. You’ll work with controls and maintenance professionals to support MHE equipment, improve preventive maintenance, and maximize reliability of conveyors, scanners, and SCADA systems.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in at least two engineering design cycles including specification, component selection and programming.
- 2+ years of experience with Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) programs.
- 2+ years of experience with robotics system components and controls.
Responsibilities
- Promote a safe working environment by complying with codes and directives related to system operations and safety.
- Troubleshoot and modify software for material handling control systems (PLC/PC), including RSLogix/Controllogix.
- Serve as first-level escalation for on-site and remote troubleshooting; respond to emergencies as needed.
- Inspect systems to ensure operation meets design capabilities and client requirements.
- Oversee development scope, scheduling, and inspection of work by outside contractors.
