CBRE Group, Inc. in Mississippi invites an experienced Automation Engineer to join our Global Workplace Solutions team. You’ll work on advanced automation and control systems, drive improvements, and help keep facilities safe and productive.

This role centers on PLCs, SCADA, conveyors, and next‑gen robotics, with opportunities to lead projects, troubleshoot, and collaborate with maintenance teams across client sites.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; 2–5 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Experience in two engineering design cycles including specification and programming.
• 2+ years with PLC programming, robotics components, and SCADA-based monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and modify software for material handling control systems and PLC platforms.
• Escalate and repair MHE controls software on-site or remotely as needed.
• Ensure equipment operation meets design capabilities and client specs.
• Coordinate with outside contractors for upgrades, maintenance and inspections.
• Engineer process solutions and reliability improvements from concept to implementation.
