Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an Automation Engineer Apprentice to learn troubleshooting and maintenance of material handling equipment, including conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, cameras, labeling systems, scales, HMIs, and control cabinets. You will work with high-performance manufacturing systems to analyze, troubleshoot, and repair for optimal process efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma or GED.
• 1+ year MRT experience or related mechatronics/robotics work.
• Ability to commute to the specified site and work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventative/corrective maintenance and basic troubleshooting of robotics and robotic work cells.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to material handling equipment components.
• Maintain and troubleshoot motors, photo eyes, relays, proximity sensors, solenoids, motor starters, tachs, etc.
