Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an Automation Engineer Apprentice to learn maintenance and troubleshooting of automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will work with high-performance manufacturing systems, supervised by senior technicians, and aim to maintain safety and efficiency.

The role develops skills in electronics, PLCs, and robotics within a structured training and on-site apprenticeship lasting two years, with opportunities for advancement and extensive hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ year RME Mechatronics/Robotics Technician experience.
• Willingness to work weekends/nights/holidays.
• Able to commute to site and complete 12-week training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive/corrective maintenance and basic troubleshooting of robotics and robotic work cells.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to material handling equipment components.
• Maintain and troubleshoot motors, sensors, relays, and PLCs.
• Assist with basic electronics and PLC troubleshooting.
• Move up to 49 lbs and stand/walk up to 12 hours per shift.
