Job summary

C&W Services is seeking an Automation Engineer Apprentice to learn equipment troubleshooting and maintenance of material handling equipment (MHE) such as conveyors, scanners, scales, and control cabinets. You will work with high-performance systems, analyze and repair to keep processes efficient while adhering to safety regulations.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year RME MRT experience or equivalent.
Able to commute to specified site and work flexible shifts.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Conduct preventative/corrective maintenance and basic troubleshooting of robotics and work cells.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE components.
Maintain and troubleshoot motors, sensors, relays, and PLCs.
Assist with PLC troubleshooting and basic electronics.
Move up to 49lbs and perform physical tasks on long shifts.
