Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an Automation Engineer Apprentice to learn troubleshooting and maintenance of material handling equipment in a high-tech facility. You will work with conveyors, sortation systems, sensors, HMI, and control cabinets, under guidance from journey workers and senior techs.

Qualifications

HS diploma or GED; willingness to enroll in 12-week training
1+ years in RME Mechatronics/Robotics tech preferred
Able to commute to site and work flexible shifts
Experience with Microsoft Office products
Willingness to commit to 2-year onsite apprenticeship after training

Responsibilities

Perform preventive/corrective maintenance on robotics work cells
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in MHE systems
Maintain motors, sensors, relays, and PLC components
Assist with PLC troubleshooting and basic electronics
Lift up to 49 lbs and work shifts up to 12 hours
