Job summary

Alsco Uniforms is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative and specialized maintenance in a large laundry facility. You will document repairs using a PM program, troubleshoot automation and control systems, and collaborate with management to improve equipment reliability.

The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and teamwork. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years in industrial maintenance, and forklift/industrial equipment familiarity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in plumbing, electrical, steam, controls, PLC, welding, and mechanical systems preferred.
• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience with electric schematics, low voltage, controls, boiler operation, hydraulics, and pneumatics; wastewater treatment knowledge.
• Boiler operator license and wastewater certification are preferred where state allows.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with General Manager and teams to support facility operations.
• Use preventive maintenance program to document repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment with emphasis on automation and control systems.
• Maintain safety, regulatory, and environmental compliance with required documentation.
