Job summary

Alsco Uniforms is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and optimize our automated laundry facility. This role emphasizes preventative maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and adherence to safety and environmental standards.

You will document repairs using a PM program, collaborate with plant leadership, and work on automation and control systems to ensure reliable, cost-effective operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; plumbing/electrical/steam/controls/welding/mechanical systems training preferred.
• Boiler operator license (state-dependent) and wastewater certification are preferred.
• Experience with computerized preventative maintenance systems and PM programs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with management to support facility operations and maintenance goals.
• Use a computerized PM program daily to document repairs and complete maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment with a focus on automation and control systems.
• Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and operational requirements through training and documentation.
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.
