Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Automation & Controls Technician for Starship infrastructure in Starbase, TX. You will install, configure, operate, and maintain automation and SCADA systems for critical power, HVAC, and utility systems, supporting production and launch activities.

The role requires hands-on experience in industrial automation, knowledge of electrical schematics, and ability to work in a high-stress, safety‑conscious environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience with automation and controls systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, operate, and maintain automation, control and SCADA systems for Starbase infrastructure.
• Support cross-functional projects and contribute to rapid improvements.
• Assist with control and automation upgrades to scale production rates.
• Deploy and troubleshoot standardized automation for power and utilities.
• Maintain documentation for Starbase SCADA systems.
• Train junior technicians in automation tasks.
• Plan, prioritize, and execute weekly tasks to meet objectives.
