Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Sr. Automation and Controls Engineer for Infrastructure & Utility (Starship) based at Starbase, TX. You will design, build, operate, and maintain automation and SCADA systems for ground infrastructure and essential utilities supporting Starship production and launch operations.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead projects, and drive improvements, while ensuring safety and high reliability in a dynamic aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 5+ years designing, analyzing, and working on automation and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, operate, and maintain automation and control systems for Starbase, TX.
• Lead cross-functional projects and drive continuous improvements.
• Develop and deploy standardized automation for power and utility systems.
• Create and maintain documentation for SCADA systems.
• Mentor engineers and technicians in automation projects.
