Job summary

Qualifications
- Associate degree in engineering technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years in industrial automation within high-speed manufacturing.
- Strong PLC troubleshooting and programming capabilities.
- Experience with HMIs, VFDs, servo systems, and industrial networks.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and control drawings.
- Willingness to work a 2-2-3 night schedule, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the on-shift controls and automation expert.
- Provide Tier 1 and 2 troubleshooting for line equipment.
- Diagnose PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, and network issues.
- Develop controls projects to improve safety, quality, and throughput.
- Mentor maintenance technicians and operators.
- Maintain backups and documentation of PLC/HMI programs.
- Support equipment commissioning and system integrations.
- Lead continuous-improvement with operations and maintenance teams.
- Manage changes through the MOC process.
- Collaborate on plant-wide automation initiatives.
