Job summary

RoviSys is seeking a co-op student to design and develop automation and information systems under the guidance of experienced engineers. You will work on projects interfacing with process lines, manufacturing equipment and sensors, and you will document and report findings at client plants.

Travel to customer sites is required for planning, commissioning and testing; you will grow into a leadership role within a team of engineers and technicians, building solutions across Systems, Information

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a Bachelor’s program in engineering/controls
• GPA 3.0 or above
• Strong problem solving and solutions development
• Passionate about technology and learning

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automation systems
• Travel to client plants for assessment and documentation of existing systems
• Define control schemes using P&ID, I/O lists and process descriptions
• Network customer systems and integrate controllers, HMIs, field devices
• Develop quality code following standards and best practices
