Job summary

RoviSys is seeking a co-op student to design and develop automation and electrical control systems interfacing with process lines and sensors. You will architect solutions from database to UI tools and provide real-time reports for clients.

Role offers travel to client sites for planning, commissioning and testing, with growth toward leading a team of engineers and technicians in future projects.

Qualifications

• Full-time student status.
• Strong academic achievement.
• Enrollment in a Bachelor's program in a technical field related to Engineering or Control Systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automation systems.
• Design and develop electrical control systems interfacing with process lines, manufacturing equipment and sensors.
• Architect solutions using the appropriate technologies from database to AI to User Interface tools.
• Provide clients with real-time, actionable information reports about their process.
• Develop quality code in accordance with established RoviSys and client standards.
• Work in a team environment with engineers and designers from RoviSys, partners and clients.
• Travel to customer sites for planning meetings, commissioning and testing.
• Grow into a position leading a team of engineers and technicians to provide automation and information solutions.
