Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks an experienced maintenance specialist to oversee fully automated AutoStore and SLAM operations. You will manage repair parts, ensure equipment uptime, and implement reliability-focused maintenance programs. Strong troubleshooting skills with Autostore and PSI/Swisslog systems are required.

You will supervise technicians, coordinate with contractors, and maintain documentation to ensure continuous, safe, and compliant operations across our automated facilities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with commercial operating systems and maintenance procedures
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent (preferred)
• 2+ years working with work orders (preferred)
• Experience with electrical principles and industrial electronics
• Training to become PSI SLAM Line and Swisslog Supper User with Autostore portal
• Ability to move robots and bins manually and troubleshoot system issues
• Open tickets with PSI/Swisslog helpdesk for support
• Experience with Java, Microsoft, and C++ preferred
• Familiarity with Autostore Console (ASC) preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain operational readiness of AutoStore and SLAM at automated locations
• Inventory and account for repair parts for AS and SLAM
• Order repair parts as consumed
• Protect Cardinal's assets and ensure ASRS systems perform as intended
• Implement and manage reliability-based maintenance
• Perform equipment inspection and monitoring per CMMS
• Maintain logs and report malfunctions as needed
• Oversee contractor activities within ASRS distribution work and SLAM line
