Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an Operations Maintenance professional to oversee the automated AS/SLAM systems at our DC locations. You will ensure operational readiness, manage repair parts, and drive preventive maintenance for ASRS equipment, robots, conveyors, and PSI/Swisslog components.

A shift of 6:00am–4:30pm with weekend flexibility supports business needs. The role requires 4+ years in maintenance and operating systems, with electrical/electronic knowledge and experience with Autostore

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with commercial operating systems and general maintenance procedures.
• Preferred High School diploma, GED or equivalent or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with electrical and electronic principles and industrial electronics.
• Able to complete training to become a PSI SLAM Line and Swisslog-Supper User and diagnose system issues.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational readiness of the AutoStore (AS) and SLAM at automated locations.
• Inventory and account for repair parts for the AS and SLAM.
• Repair parts ordering and warranty compliance for AS/SLAM components.
• Implement and manage a reliability-based maintenance program.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks and CMMS-based activities.
• Monitor ASRS equipment, robots, conveyors, and electrical systems; review logs and report issues.
• Coordinate with PSI and Swisslog support for tickets and repairs.
• Oversee contractors during demonstrations, training sessions, and maintenance activities.
