Job summary

Challenge Mfg. Company LLC in Kansas City, MO is seeking a dependable press operator to support 5 AM–5 PM shifts on our Y-Shift. You will monitor a 1,000-ton stamping press, load coils, verify quality per JES and job elements, and maintain accurate records in Plex ERP.

Prior manufacturing experience is preferred. The role requires reading and understanding work instructions, a high standard of performance, teamwork, and flexibility to work up to 12 hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and understand English to safely perform duties and follow instructions.
• Demonstrates good communication and reliability in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to adapt and learn cross-training on different work centers.

Responsibilities

• Operate stamping press and monitor production to meet daily goals.
• Reference Plex/ERP data to stamp per JES and production orders.
• Ensure proper labeling, packing and staging per customer requirements.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and assist with housekeeping and basic maintenance.
