Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing’s Kansas City plant is seeking a Z shift stamping operator to support daily production. You will reference JES, load coils, operate 1000-ton presses, and perform quality checks in Plex ERP system.

Candidates must have a high school diploma, at least one year in manufacturing, be able to read and follow instructions, and lift up to 40 pounds. The job offers ESOP participation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• One year of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at a level sufficient to safely and effectively perform job duties, including following work instructions, safety procedures, and company communications.
• Ability to read and interpret job element sheets.
• Ability to frequently lift/move material weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Willingness to work a 12-hour shift (Fri-Sun).
• Team-oriented, safety-focused and reliable in performance.

Responsibilities

• Stamp product per JES using selected coils.
• Load correct coils in stamping press to produce quality part.
• Perform quality checks and record in Plex ERP system.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of work area.
• Complete paperwork and daily shift reporting.
• Meet daily production requirements.
