Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in Harrisburg seeks a dedicated Mail Production Operator to support critical public services by operating automated mail equipment and maintaining efficient production lines. You will handle computer generated mail output, load forms and inserts, verify correct labeling, and assist with minor repairs to keep the equipment running smoothly.

This is full-time, on-site work from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday with a one-hour lunch. Telework is not available.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of clerical experience or one year as a Mail Production Assistant (Commonwealth title or equivalent).
• Equivalent combination of experience and training acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Operate Bell and Howell inserting equipment to process mail output
• Load continuous forms, cutsheet output, envelopes, and inserts into machines for each production run
• Verify labeling and alignment on window envelopes
• Perform minor machine repairs and adjustments
• Move completed mail trays to designated processing areas
