ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems, Pedestrian Door Solutions in Dayton, OH seeks a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and upgrade automated pedestrian doors. Youll deliver reliable, safe door solutions, perform maintenance, and ensure high customer satisfaction across diverse client sites.

The role requires AAADM certification within a year, valid driving license, and a strong safety mindset. Competitive hourly pay with benefits and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with experience repairing electro-mechanical devices.
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage wiring (120V).
• Experience with glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames and hardware.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• High commitment to safety, customer satisfaction and teamwork.
• Ability to lift, bend, and use power tools.

Responsabilités

• Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repairs, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer sites.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electro-mechanical devices and electrical circuits.
• Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low-voltage wiring.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and contractors.
• Participate in training programs and AAADM certification.
• Operate power tools and perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 100 lbs).
• Participate in on-call rotations after certification and training.
