Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems, a global leader in automated door solutions, seeks a Service Technician in Beavercreek, OH. You’ll diagnose, repair, and upgrade a variety of sliding, swinging, and rotating doors at customer sites, ensuring uptime and safety.

You’ll work with AAADM-certified training, use power tools, and collaborate with customers and contractors. A valid driver’s license and a safety-first mindset are required; on-call rotations may apply.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with experience repairing electro-mechanical devices.
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage wiring is required.
• Valid driver’s license and a strong commitment to safety are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving electro-mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic.
• Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low-voltage wiring.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, end-users, and contractors, providing exceptional service at every interaction.
• Participate in training programs and maintain AAADM certification.
• Operate power tools and perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 100 lbs., climbing ladders, kneeling).
• Participate in on-call rotations after certification and training.
