Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems, Pedestrian Door Solutions in Chandler, AZ, is hiring a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and upgrade automated pedestrian doors for diverse customers. You’ll perform planned maintenance, troubleshoot electro-mechanical devices, and work with aluminum frames, glazing, and low-voltage wiring.

Required: mechanical aptitude, AAADM certification within 12 months, valid driver's license, and ability to lift up to 110 pounds with tools.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with experience in repairing electro-mechanical devices.
• Must obtain AAADM certification within 12 months of employment.
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage wiring.
• Experience with glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware (preferred).
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance and break-fix repairs on automated doors.
• Diagnose issues in electro-mechanical devices and relay logic.
• Repair and upgrade doors using aluminum frames, glazing, and hardware.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and contractors.
• Participate in on-call rotations after certification and training.
