Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is seeking an Installation Technician to diagnose, install, and upgrade automated pedestrian doors at customer locations in Tallahassee, FL. You will follow manufacturer procedures, document work, and ensure safety on every site.

Responsibilities include on-site installation, troubleshooting electro‑mechanical systems, and maintaining clear communication with customers and contractors.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in storefront/automatic door installation or related industry.
• AAADM certification must be obtained within six months of employment.
• Strong commitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and teamwork.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform service and installation in accordance with manufacturers' procedures and specifications.
• Document time spent and report problems, shortages and site conditions.
• Work safely to protect people, co-workers, contractors and the public.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electro‑mechanical door issues and perform repairs.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and contractors, delivering exceptional service.
