OneMain Financial is seeking an Associate Director to lead Auto Verifications on-site in Tempe, AZ. This role drives quality, service, productivity and fraud prevention while developing managers and partnering across Risk, Compliance, Technology, and Finance to improve controls and customer experience.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in consumer lending or related operations, with strong leadership, analytics and communication skills to influence senior leaders and manage cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in consumer lending, auto finance, verification, fraud, risk, or related financial services operations.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing managers and high-performing teams.
• Strong operational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate insights into action.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and build effective cross-functional partnerships.
• Strong understanding of risk, fraud prevention, compliance, and operational controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop managers responsible for Auto Verification operations, fostering a high-performing and engaged team.
• Establish and monitor performance, quality, service, productivity, and fraud prevention standards.
• Partner with Risk, Fraud, Compliance, Technology, Finance, and business leaders to identify trends, address risks, and improve performance.
• Develop and strengthen verification processes and controls to support changing business volumes, credit cycles, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and lead process and technology improvements that increase efficiency, reduce expense, and enhance the customer and dealer experience.
• Use data and business insights to identify opportunities, solve complex problems, and influence strategic decisions.
• Communicate business performance, risks, and recommendations effectively to senior leadership.
