Job summary

OneMain Financial is seeking a Title Specialist to maintain a high performing auto secured loan portfolio across the branch network and centralized accounts through administrative and customer service tasks. You will identify mail related to lienholder status, respond to inquiries about lien placement, and escalate complex issues to ensure a smooth process.

This role requires accuracy and strong communication with branches, underwriting, and centralized sales teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of customer service experience.
• Experience with auto titling and/or lending preferred but not required.
• Ability to review loan and title documents in a timely fashion.
• Strong communication skills (oral, written, interpersonal).

Responsibilities

• Identify, sort, and process mail related to lienholder status on customer’s auto property.
• Answer phone and email inquiries about lien placement and using our third-party vendor system.
• Identify anomalies or complex issues and escalate to ensure a timely transition in the process.
• Partner with branch network to increase lien perfection rates on auto secured loans.
• Act as liaison between multiple internal and external customers/vendors with Centralized Sales, Underwriting and Branch personnel.
• Maintain knowledge of OneMain's policies, procedures, and state/federal laws.
