OneMain Financial is seeking a Title Specialist to maintain a high-performing auto secured loan portfolio across our branch network. The role focuses on administrative and customer service tasks related to lien placement and document processing.

The position requires basic customer service experience and strong communication skills, with a focus on timely review of loan and title documents. Training on OneMain policies and state/federal laws will be provided.

OneMain Financial is seeking a Title Specialist

who will be responsible for maintaining a high performing auto secured loan portfolio rating for our branch network and centralized accounts. This will be done through administrative and customer service-oriented tasks.

In the Role

• Identify, sort, and process mail as it relates to our stake as lienholder on customer’s auto property.
• Answer phone and email inquiries from our branch network with questions about the lien placement process and using our third-party vendor system.
• Identify anomalies or complex issues and decisively elevate to provide a timely and seamless transition within the process.
• Partner with our branch network to increase their lien perfection rates on auto secured loans.
• Act as a liaison between multiple internal and external customers and/or vendors. This will include written and verbal communication with Centralized Sales, Underwriting and Branch personnel.
• Maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of OneMain’s policies and procedures, as well as state and federal laws.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 (One) or more year(s) in customer service
• Prior experience in auto titling and/or lending is preferred but not necessary.
• Ability to review loan and title documents in a timely fashion.
• Strong communication skills (oral, written, and interpersonal).
