Job summary

FullSpeedAutomotive in Marianna, FL seeks an Assistant Manager to lead day-to-day operations across service bay, front counter, and back office. You will coach technicians and service advisors, schedule coverage, and ensure fast, quality automotive service in a safe, clean environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a retail, automotive service, or customer-facing leadership role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment that includes time in the service bay.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills; comfortable using point-of-sale and inventory systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and some holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily operations, stepping in to lead the location in the manager's absence.
• Coach, train, and motivate technicians and service advisors to deliver high-quality service.
• Assist with scheduling to ensure proper coverage during peak hours.
• Onboard and train new team members on procedures, POS, and customer service standards.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment reflecting the brand values.
• Greet customers, explain services, and upsell based on guidelines.
• Manage store operations including opening/closing, cash handling, and POS.
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders as directed by the Store Manager.
• Maintain a clean, safe shop and comply with safety protocols and policies.
• Track daily sales, productivity, and KPIs.
