Job summary

Auto Plus is seeking a Store Manager to drive sales and service across labor, parts and fleet, while delivering exceptional customer service in-store. You will lead service selling and back shop teams, recruit and develop staff, and provide inspirational leadership to meet productivity and profitability goals.

The role requires hands-on supervision, strong communication, and adherence to safety and company standards, including opening/closing duties and POS cash handling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year automotive service experience.
• Two-year college, technical program, or 1-3 years service industry experience with at least 1 year supervisory experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to apply basic mathematical formulas for commissions/discounts.
• Acted as a work lead or supervisor previously.
• Ability to work independently and exercise judgement.
• Ability to handle difficult customer situations.
• Comfortable using up-sell techniques.
• Strong cash handling skills with POS systems.
• Demonstrated consistency, accuracy and follow-through.
• Ability to work Days, Nights, Holidays and Weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall direction and evaluation of reports in compliance with policies and safety codes.
• Direct and manage a team of associates; hire, train, and develop staff.
• Ensure store productivity, profitability, and compliance; uphold visual standards.
• Train staff on Customer Care Process and CVIs.
• Source and interview talent for critical roles.
• Monitor productivity and back shop operations; ensure CVIs and repairs.
• Ensure customer service standards and resolution of complaints.
• Follow POS, inventory, and procurement procedures.
• Collaborate with Fleet team to maintain relationships.
• Advise on tires, parts and service programs.
• Communicate effectively with staff and customers.
• Perform opening/closing responsibilities as Key holder.
• Other duties as assigned.
